That is kinda correct!

Points are awarded for the top 4 place getters of each event. 5,3,2 and 1
The Metropolitan Champion will be the rider with the most accumulated points.
Should riders be on equal points the TT ranking will decide placing

We are just waiting on approval by CNSW Technical Director for the program as there are some modifications to the CNSW Tech regs to allow the event to fit into one day.
So the new proposed events will be:

Elite:  2000M Ind. Pursuit, Men Derby, 10km Scratch Race
Elite Women  2000M Ind. Pursuit, Women Derby , 5km Scratch Race
U19/M  2000M Ind. Pursuit, Derby,7.5km Scratch Race
U19/W  500M Time Trial, Derby ,5km Scratch Race
Masters 35-44  500M Time Trial, Derby,  5km Scratch Race
Masters 45- 54   500M Time Trial, Derby,5km Scratch Race
Masters 55+   500M Time Trial, Derby, 5km Scratch Race
Women Masters  500M Time Trial,  Derby,5km Scratch Race

The above program is a lot larger (longer) than the original proposed format so there will also need to be an alteration to the start time
I would imagine that an 11:30am or 12noon start for Pursuits and 1pm for TT's would suffice
.

Hey, What's the story with the dismall entry list for the Metro's?

Come on guys and girls, you are supporting Paul on Friday nights and he's done us all a big favour by putting on the Metro's so how about entering and giving yourself a chance at a state medal, or at least riding a PB in your pursuit or time trial.

Any Masters that are racing at the World Championships could use it as a dress rehearsal and blow the cobwebs out, practise starts etc.

There's only just over a week before entries close.

I've got a 300km drive and I'm coming, so let's all support Pauls effort, or this race could disappear like so many others.

How can a rider with a 300km drive compete in the metro championships, unless they come from the ACT?  Although entries are advertised as possible for interstate and international riders as far as I understand country riders are not included.  So not all masters world championships competitors would be able to be in it.

They belong to a Metro club.
