• Div 5 was introduced to be a stepping stone to riding in a higher grade • In the past, some riders have not progressed to a higher grade because they were highly ranked for the point series. Even though they had progressed in speed and ability. • To return Div 5 to its intended purpose and encourage riders to step up, there will be no series prize for Div 5 in 2010 • Riders will continue to score points in Div 5 and can take them up to Div 4 (as per RAW Track Constitution) The grade point score will also continue to exist, however it will not attract a monetary prize.
