Sydney’s RAW Track (Race All Winter Track) has grown to be one of the nation’s best known track series and its success has spread throughout the country with the majority of states now hosting similar winter track events.
Throughout 2009 RAW Track has taken a significant step in Live streaming to the world every second week’s action from the Dunc Gray Velodrome. The brain child of Ian Gardner, CEO of Viocorp, the internet based live video offers enthusiasts around the globe, not only a chance to witness the action but also interact with a live chat module. Guest from Great Brittan, USA, Africa and even Brisbane have marvelled at the impressive technology that delivers grass roots racing to their home computers.
This Friday 11th September will mark the final streaming of RAW Track for 2009. The night will feature the Hillbrick Racing Frames 1.5km Wheel-Race, in which the winner will receive a Hillbrick Carbon Pista frameset other highlights will be the CNSW-Swerve Cafe Time Blaster in which competitors stand a chance of winning $100 cash so long as they can better the 2009 record time for the 7.5km race (currently over 52km/h)
