Whilst numbers were decent, they were not enough to cover venue hire, first aid, commisaires, staff, prizes and additional costs. Without going into the many many hours/days of work on my part associated with such an event. Ken McMillan from Kirrawee cycles, supported the event with prizes and offered increased assistance to keep the SSS a fixture. I don't think the event is dead and will run again, I just need to get the motivation to attempt it again |
