Title: Day 3 - Sunday 29Dec13 @LACC_Syd Traffic Alert Lidcombe Oval Post by: Cheers! on December 28, 2013, 12:36:36 AM PLEASE NOTE THAT OLYMPIC DRIVE, LIDCOMBE IS CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC There is a convoluted but well-marked (and scenic) detour if attempting to enter Wyatt Park (Lidcombe Oval) from Rookwood Road. This is best avoided as it may lead to congestion and frustration. The best approach to Wyatt Park is from the north along St Hilliers Road. At the southern end of St Hilliers Road (where the railway line stops it from going any further) turn left on to Gelibolu Parade then turn left onto Percy Street. The entrance to Wyatt Park Sporting Complex is in Percy Street. Follow the “POOL” signs. You will see Lidcombe Oval grand stand and the entrance to our remodeled and rebuilt track. |
