Explain these races
Handicaps – These will be run in heats of approximately 8 riders over two laps (500m) I will determine your starting position upon entry to the track. Four riders will start off the top fence and four will start off the bottom fence about 10m behind. Whistle start.

Mystery- This is a standard scratch race however the number of laps is predetermined by the organiser and concealed. The riders are given a whistle with 1 lap to go.

Junior Development is on this week!
For the last time in 2009

 •   This year Michelle Ferris and Kris Koke will be hosting Junior development
•   coaching starts at 6pm
•   Cost is $5
•   Again this year the first event of the night will be a Junior development demonstration starting at 7:05pm

Grade point scores are frozen (for series contenders)
•   By this I mean that the Division you are in now on the point score will be the one you will earn points for the rest of the season, even if you change divisions.
•   So if you move from Div 3 to Div 2 this week your name will remain in the Div 3 point score.
•   Going down a grade is different and will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Who is hot and who is not (for TWE Point Series)

    vs.

Div 1: Harvey has clawed his way back to be within 1 point

Div 2: Gary Mandy has for the first time hit the front. I have confidence he will continue to dominate.

Div 3: Shaun Colley has a 4 point lead over a determined Sasha. I think Shaun may have the edge though.

Div 4: Ian Dencker not only won the Hillbrick Last week but he maintained his healthy lead despite stepping up a grade to Div 3. Well done Ian for doing the noble thing.

Div 5: It was with bitter disappointment that I noted that David Greenwood, continued to ride Div 5 as he has been ready for Div 4 since week 7. He has a solid lead in the series and should be able to defend it.
