I have received a number of questions in regards to the Series Christmas Track Series

Senior Carnival

What time do the events start?
First race at every carnival will start at 6:15pm except the Sunday (2nd) which starts at 1pm

What is the prize money?
Women’s and Men’s individual winner will go home with $1000+ worth of cash and prizes.

Can I ride just a couple of the nights?
Yes of course.

What is the racing format?
Rnd 1 Warm up Scratch race (Qualifier for WR)
Rnd 2 Wheel race
Rnd 3 Sprint event (either 1 lap screamer or Sprint derby)
Rnd 4 Endurance Race (either Points Race or Winners Race)
Rnd 5 Feature Event ( Div 1 Madison everyone else Handicap Miss’n’out or group handicaps)

If it rains, how do I know if we are going to the DGV?
A decision will be made by 2pm and posted on Raw Track Website (www.rawtrack.com.au )

Junior Carnival

Will there be a junior series?
Yes. The juniors start at 4 pm sharp on the first 4 days DGV 28th, Tempe 29th, Hurstville 30th and Lidcombe 1st . Please note the DGV carnival will be for U13’s up only. All other carnivals will have an U9/11 grade.

Where do I enter the junior carnival?
All entries for the junior carnivals are on the day.

How/what format is the junior carnival ran.
Same as 2009, it will be an omium style event over four rounds
•   Rnd 1 Scratch race
•   Rnd 2 Wheel race Qualifier
•   Rnd 3 1 lap screamer
•   Rnd 4 Wheel race Final (worth double points)
•   Rnd 5 Pending time derny H’cap (non omnium)
The above format had everyone who attended last year singing the praises of the series.

Hi Paul

Because some of us cant get the energy up to tie our own shoelaces (thank god for velcro) we missed the cycling nsw window. Are you re-opening this or do we join on the first night for the series?

Late entries on the day are cool.

1 day carnivals are same price $25

Series entry for all 5 is $100 + $5 late entry fee

If you can let us know if you are planning to ride I can put you on the start list (this makes logistics easier)

Cheers Paul
