My odds
5:3 Favourite Gavin White.....he has won it four times in a row how can you bet against him
2:1 David Stevens.... Current two time Masters World Champion and current Masters 3 pursuit world record holder. If David brings anything close to this form into the RAW season he will be unstoppable. His kryptonite is standing starts, which quite frankly suck. Hence he will not be gaining to many points in the 1 lap screamer events.
2:1 Tirian McManus ..... This National champion must be spitting chips he was not selected in the Australian Junior Worlds team. Clearly one of the best U19 riders in Australia, will Tirian be able to turn his anger towards the 2011 RAW series?
3:1 Ben Harvey ......A national medal in 2011, has proven this rider to be one of the best in country. Can he hold it together for the whole season?
3:1 Ben Simonelli..... has the ability and drive to do it, does he have the time?
5:1 Timothy McMillan ........ no doubt he has the ability and speed; however national representative duties should prevent him from challenging.
7:1 Mark Jewell..... Has been the dominant force in masters racing for 2011. If he commits we will have a new contender.
8:1 Bradley Heffernan........ The Newly crowned National U17 Scratch Race champion is never short of aggression. His first season in Div1 may be a big step up, but no one doubts this dynamo will be dishing out a bucket load of pain in every race.
8:1 Jack Edwards..... A former Div 4 winner Jack is about twice as big and twice as fast.
8:1 J-L Rathbone.....If he wants it, he can have it!
10:1 Mitchell Codner..... This former U19 MTB national champion turned up to RAW once last year and scared allot of A grade riders with his power. He seems to have been doing heaps more cycling work and may be a dark horse to do well.
10:1 Simon and Tim Llewellyn....have both been consistently top 10 riders in the series can they step up?
10:1 Sam Rutherford ........ This well known NSW roadie dabbled with the track in 2010 and managed to secure some excellent results both on the track and road. Will he do it again in 2011 but with more consistency.
15:1 Scott and Jackson Law ...... national and international representative duties should prevent them from challenging
30:1 Patrick Bolan and Shaun Hopkins ......past winners will need to lose a few kg’s
