It is great to see that the interest in clubs challenge has returned!

Here's proof that it all starts somewhere & all not too long ago really...

Our problem isn't a lack of juniors and women, it's a lack of juniors and women at RAW.

Typical LACC household:

Typical DHBC household:

I suggest a 3 person team sprint. The grade values of the riders must equal or exceed 11. That is, 2 x div 4 + 1 x div 3 (4+4+3=11), 1 x div 1 + 2 x div 5 (1+5+5=11) and so on. It's like a mini-Italian. Quick, easy and possible for both camps.

lol so hard at this!!! possibly true for our track cyclists, not for the rest of our club all the time though, we are actually the cruisiest club our there I reckon, not so race focused, we specialise in saturday slowies rides to centenial park, and then having heaps of fun grades out to waterfall, not so much racing!

I don't think we are just leading on numbers though, we have a good spread of results through out the grades.

Sorry about not accepting by the way every one, we have had a bit of a change in leadership down at the track lately, and it just turned out that no one ended up accepting it, or taking charge! we actually trained for it on Wednesday even!~ Me and Simon haven't been down at the track enough lately to say yes to it on behalf of every one, and it turned out no one else decided to do it either.

i second that acceptance!

lets go on friday.  we can let crafty make up the rules on the night, pending the number of people that turn up.

as a prize for DHBC if we win, crafty has to do the fixie century this year, with Brownie! on a tandem?!

I think a club challenge for next year will be great, but we do need to settle this little "dispute" in the arena as soon as possible. I think a hipsters vs breeders challenge is doable, though I can't guarantee appropriate numbers in all sub-categories. Since this week is the Fat Mans, it's probably too much, but I will accept on behalf of the club for a race in week 11 or 12.

So we're on. I'll gee the troops up for next week or the last week and we'll see how many we can get out on the track.
